With the yarn to the front of the work, insert the right hand needle into the front of the first stitch on left hand needle, so that the point of the right hand needle passes towards the front of the work 'beneath' the left hand needle. Wrap the yarn round the right hand needle. With this needle draw the yarn through the stitch on the left hand needle, while slipping the stitch off the left hand needle. Continue in this way with the yarn towards the front of the work.
